Tennis & Rec Club Update
PEARL BEACH TENNIS & RECREATION CLUB INC.
A very well attended testimonial luncheon was held on Friday 16th November for Brian Worrall, retiring President and Ron Keers, retiring General Secretary, held at Pearl’s Restaurant. Keith Lego and Brian were matchless as raconteurs.
Our various playing groups are shaping up to celebrate Christmas with at-court parties. Some will take advantage of the new BBQ which has been readied in Shed 2.
We welcome home Paul Barclaire, Vice President, from his lengthy sojourn around the Top End and down the Coast of Western Australia.
The Logo competition has now closed with a very pleasing 35 entries. Our Committee will consider the entries prior to Christmas.
Andrew Coates, an accredited coach, is available to coach tennis on a Saturday morning. Andrew can be contacted on 0416770763.
