Community Hall Hiring
PEARL BEACH COMMUNITY HALL HIRING FEES & CONDITIONS 1/1/2010
The Pearl Beach Community Hall is equipped with modern kitchen facilities
including crockery, table cloths and dish washing equipment.
HIRING RATES SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Pearl Beach Progress Association Member…………….$40.00 per hour inc GST
Non Member……………………………………………$50.00 per hour inc GST
MONDAY TO FRIDAY
Pearl Beach Progress Association Member……………..$35.00 per hour inc GST
Non Member…………………………………………….$40.00 per hour inc GST
Function Hire: Hourly rate will commence from when keys are supplied or hall access provided.
Wedding Back-up: The hall may be reserved for a wedding ceremony on the date agreed, for a one-off non-refundable fee of $100 inc GST. Should the wedding take place in the hall, normal hiring charges and insurance fees will apply, less the fee already paid.
Discount: For regular weekly hiring, discount rates will apply.
Cancellation: If a booking is cancelled, deposit refunds will apply on the following basis:
30 days prior……100% 15 days prior……50% 7 days prior……25%
Public Liability Insurance: Public Liability Insurance is mandatory for all hall hiring. Details of the hirer’s Public Liability Insurance must be presented prior to the hiring date. If no certificate is available, Pearl Beach Progress Association can provide cover for up to $10m for this insurance for an additional one-off fee of $65. The hirer must sign for this insurance on the hall booking form.
Bond: All hirers are required to pay a bond of $200.00 which will be refunded providing there are no breakages and the hall is left in a clean condition. Should the hall require special cleaning, $85.00 will be deducted from the bond. All breakages will also be deducted from the bond.
Operating Hours: All functions must conclude by 11.30pm.
